The dyno: why we measure instead of promising

An announced figure only commits the person who hears it. A measured figure can be checked. The dyno is the tool that makes all the difference in our method, in Nivelles since 1995.

What is a dyno?

A power dyno reproduces the effort of the road inside our workshop. The vehicle runs on rollers while sensors record the power and torque actually delivered, at every engine speed. It is the tool that turns a feeling into a figure.

Before and after: the only honest proof

Announcing "+30 hp" means nothing until someone has checked it on your vehicle. We run a baseline measurement, then a second one after remapping, under the same conditions. The gap between the two curves is your real gain: not a catalogue figure, not an estimate.

Reading a dyno graph

Two curves are read together: power, which climbs with engine speed, and torque, which expresses the force available. What matters is not only the peak, but the shape of the curve: good work widens the usable range and gains torque low down, where you drive every day, without creating jolts. We explain your curve to you, point by point.

Why it protects you

The dyno forces us to be honest: you cannot inflate a figure measured in front of you. It is also a reliability safeguard. During the runs, we watch temperatures, boost pressure and mixture in real time, and we correct the moment anything steps out of line. You leave with controlled, compliant, documented work.
