Tracker4Fleet Privacy Policy

1. Identity and data controller

This policy applies to the Tracker4Fleet mobile app (Android and iOS), published on Google Play and the App Store under the developer account Tracker 4 Fleet (T4F).

The data controller is Powerconcept, Rue du Commerce 13, 1400 Nivelles, Belgium. For any question about privacy or your data: info@powerconcept.be.

Tracker4Fleet is a professional tool for fleet operators and their staff. Access is granted through an account provided as part of a service subscription.

2. Scope

This policy covers only the Tracker4Fleet mobile app and the data it processes on your device and through our servers. It does not cover the www.powerconcept.be website, which is governed by its own terms of use.

3. Data we process and purposes

Account credentials. Your email address and password are used to authenticate you. If you choose "Stay signed in", your credentials are stored encrypted on your device. Purpose: securing access to your account.

Device location. With your permission, the app accesses your location (precise or approximate) only while it is open in the foreground, to show your position on the map relative to the fleet's vehicles. We do not collect your location in the background and do not store it on our servers. You may deny or revoke this permission in your device settings; the app remains usable, only your own position no longer appears.

Push notifications. If you enable them, a notification token and a device identifier are generated (via our provider OneSignal) to send you service-related alerts and notifications. Purpose: informing the user of fleet events.

Fleet data. The app displays the GPS positions and status of the vehicles linked to your account. This business data is managed under the responsibility of the fleet operator who granted you access; the app displays it but does not create it.

Technical data and preferences. Authentication tokens (secure storage) and preferences (for example the selected account, the language) are stored locally on your device so the app can work.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell your data. The app contains no advertising, performs no advertising profiling, includes no third-party analytics tool and does not track your location in the background.

5. Third-party services

To provide the service, the app relies on providers that may process certain data on our behalf:

• Google Maps (Google LLC) for map display (Google's policy).

• OneSignal for sending push notifications (OneSignal's policy).

• Tracker4Fleet service hosting, which receives your sign-in credentials and serves the fleet data. Data is shared with these providers only to the extent necessary for the app to work.

6. Data retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Personal location data is not retained beyond being shown on screen. Locally stored data is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app. We keep certain data for as long as required by our legal obligations.

7. Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and the associated personal data by emailing info@powerconcept.be from your account email address, or by contacting the fleet administrator who created your access.

We handle these requests within a reasonable time, subject to data we are legally required to keep. The fleet's business data remains the responsibility of the operator in charge of the account.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact info@powerconcept.be.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA, www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).

9. Security

Communications between the app and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS). Authentication tokens are kept in your device's secure storage. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, without this amounting to an obligation of result.

10. Children

Tracker4Fleet is a professional tool that is not directed at children and is not intended to be used by minors.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or to regulations. Any change is published on this page, with an updated revision date.
